I had tea yesterday with a great theologian
and he asked me:
"What is your experience of God's will?"
I liked that question--
for the distillation of thought hones thought in others.
Clarity, I know, is freedom.
-Theresa of Avila
The purpose of yoga is to develop clarity so that we can achieve freedom from those things that make us suffer. In the tradition of the Bhagavad Gita, the God-man Krishna encourages his disciple Arjuna to develop clarity through two means: by following his warrior path and to surrender his heart to God. The Bhakti Warrior Yoga system encourages the development of these two qualities through the synergy of the tools of Raja and Hatha yoga with the insights of bhakti and other spiritual paths.
Stuart Rice, the developer of Bhakti Warrior Yoga, is a 500 Hour RYT and E-RYT who blends his life experiences, knowledge of yoga philosophy, and love of the physical, energetic, and breath practice of yoga into his classes. He also provides workshops and immersions to allow people to more deeply investigate the integration of clarity into their lives.
We invite you to join us for the most important practice of all: being yourself.
